The AAINA Mirror Collection is a festive, handcrafted collection that reflects a modern and unexpected take on the traditional shisha mirror work of India, practiced since the 17th century. Aaina (pronounced EYE-nuh) means 'mirror' in Hindi. Working with exceptional artisans of this craft, we have designed geometric, angled patterns of real mirror embroidery that adorn our structured capes and capelets. Mirrors are custom cut and meticulously embroidered by hand. A finished garment takes weeks to complete. These unique statement pieces shimmer and glow in any occasion, day or night.
